Product Reviews
Izziwotnot's Bailey Sleigh cot bed isn't the most affordable however it's stylish and well-made. It's easy to put together however, it requires two people. It looks beautiful in any nursery. Our panel loved the dark wood and the dowel sides, and is strong enough to last until your baby becomes a toddler. It also meets British safety standards. The depth isn't so great that your child could get out and the distance between slats should not exceed 65mm. This will prevent their heads from being trapped. It is also necessary to buy a mattress, that costs an additional PS88.
This cot stands out because of its sleigh-shaped design. It's also easy to put your baby in and out of it, which is an enormous plus. It's slightly more expensive than some other cots, but our panel of experts thought it was worth the extra cash for the look and the durability.
The cot bed comes in either country pine or walnut finishes. It is suitable from birth. It includes three mattress heights so that you can start off your baby high to make it easier for them to use throughout the day or at night. Then lower it as they get older. It has teething rails to protect your child's furniture and gums. Once your baby is out of the cot bed it is able to be easily converted into a junior bed, and then a sofa.
Silver Cross' westport design is a different cot that has a solid feel and is constructed to last. It can be used from birth as a cot, then as toddler bed, and then an adult bed. (Toddler guard rail is available separately). Our panel found it a little tricky to convert from cot to bed, but their other half said it was a doddle and took less than five minutes to complete. It's also slightly more expensive than other cots but it's the kind of design that you'd probably want to keep for your children as they grow older.
